"Bound by Tradition" is my conception
of the honor firefighters feel for their
job and country, hence the flag, the
traditional bugle, a sign of rank, and
the boots symbolizing the working
firefighters.  Bound together by the
gold braid, reinforces that it takes both
leaders and the firefighters to
complete the task at hand.
